Religion Department

Graduation Requirements
Students are required to complete four credits in Religious Education.  Students are also required to complete volunteer service hours during their time at Serra:  10 hours per year for freshmen and sophomores; 20 hours per year for juniors and seniors.

Organizations and Activities
Liturgical Planning:  Students work with faculty to plan school liturgies and prayer services.
Interact Club (Serra Serves): Students engage in service projects, collections and other activities on behalf of the community.
Instruments of Peace:  Students provide music for liturgies and prayer services.
Pro-Life Club:  Students work to promote the Catholic life values from conception to natural death.
Appalachia Trip:  Students join with other groups from across the country for a one week trip to Frenchville, PA  Students help the poor while living in solidarity with the poor and learning Catholic social teaching.
