CURRENT TUITION AND FINANCIAL AID
To read the Serra Catholic High School Diocesan Finance Policy, please click here.
The cost of tuition for the 2015-16 academic year is as follows:
$8,600 for a Catholic student
$9,100 for a non-Catholic student
In an effort to help defray the cost of tuition, there are various financial aid options for families. Some of these include the Bishop's Education Fund, the Scholastic Opportunity Scholarship Program (SOS), the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC), and individual school aid. Click here for a more detailed description of each type of aid, as well as the steps you must follow to apply for it.
In addition to tuition, every Serra family will be responsible for the generation of $350 in mandatory fundraising revenue. Each family will be required to purchase or sell 25 raffle tickets at $10 each for the December raffle. The final $100 in fundraising may come from the purchase of additional tickets for the December raffle, the purchase of two tickets to our annual auction in April, or other fundraising options made available during the year. Furthermore, for Serra to remain an outstanding Catholic, Franciscan educational facility, it takes a great deal of effort from many. Therefore, we require every family receiving financial assistance to volunteer a minimum of 20 hours per year.
