Samantha Kalkbrenner Memorial Fund
To assist the Kalkbrenner Family, Serra Catholic High School has established two giving opportunities.
Donations can be made to the "Samantha Kalkbrenner Memorial Fund" at the Parkview Community Federal Credit Union, 2100 Eden Park Blvd., McKeesport, PA 15132. Checks can also be mailed directly to the school. All checks must be made out to the "Samantha Kalkbrenner Memorial Fund."

Concession Stand Volunteers Needed THIS WEEK

GIRLS SOCCER Friday, October 6, 2023 - 3:00 - Seton LaSalle
We are in need of volunteers for the concession stand for the above listed games this week. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Amy Sullivan at [email protected].
Concessions volunteers are to report to the Concession Stand on the field 45 minutes prior to the start and end approximately 10 minutes prior to the end of the game.

Open House - Thursday, October 5th - 6:30 pm
Please invite any friends or family that have eighth grade students or students thinking of transferring to Serra to our Open House. Families will have the opportunity to discuss curriculum and extracurricular offerings with our administration, faculty, coaches, and students. Tours will also be provided. In addition, any student considering Serra may be an “Eagle” for a day by shadowing a Serra student. This is a one-on-one opportunity to attend classes, have lunch and experience a day as a Serra student! Shadowing experiences take place November through April and must be scheduled through the Admissions Office.
If a family is unable to attend our Open House and would like to take a tour or discuss how their student would benefit from attending Serra Catholic please contact Lorraine Lyons at [email protected] or 412-751-2020 ext. 134.
2023-24 Course Registration Fee
Please don't forget to send in your $100 course registration fee. You may pay your course registration fee by check, made payable to Serra Catholic High School, or by cash. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Cassie Fedor at [email protected].
*Freshman families please note - this fee is only for sophomore, junior, and senior families.
FALL ATHLETIC SPORTS FEE
To continue our tradition of excellence in athletics, we require all families of student athletes* to pay an athletic fee based on how many sports are played, according to the following schedule:
One Sport: $100.00
Two Sports: $125.00
Three Sports: $150.00
Please note that this is a mandatory school fee and is in addition to any team’s booster club’s activity fee. Please submit your payment to the main office by Wednesday, November 1st. Please indicate on the envelope your child’s name, grade, and the sport(s) they are participating in. If your child will be playing a winter or spring sport, you are welcome to pay for it at this time, if you would like. If you have any questions concerning your child’s sports fee, please contact Ms. Cassie Fedor at [email protected].
*Please note: Cheerleaders are not required to pay this fee.
We are Hiring!!!
We are searching for a part-time driver to work approximately 20 hours a week. This would be ideal for anyone who is newly retired, already working part-time, or someone who just needs out of the house from time to time. A regular driver's license with a clean driving record is needed. No CDL license is necessary. They would need all of their clearances. Please contact [email protected] if you are interested.
