Physicals for Baseball – Softball – Track – Due Tues., Feb. 27
Baseball, softball, and track physicals are due today, Tuesday Feb 27. Please turn them into Ms. DeSalvo or the main office ASAP. You cannot participate with your team as of March 4th without a complete, valid physical or recertification form.
2024-2025 FACTS GRANT AND FINANCIAL AID ASSESSMENT INFORMATION
Financial Aid (FA)
The application is open for the 2024-25 school year and will close on March 15, 2024. The FACTS application is the online tool that is used to apply for financial aid. All families are encouraged to apply for aid. Please note you will not be considered for aid if a FACTS application is not completed. You may access the application online using the link:

Please keep the following things in mind when applying:
- A) Families new to FACTS will need to create an account.
- B) The cost for the application is $25.00.
- C) Make sure toselect the 2024-25school year.
- D)You will need to upload your 2023 tax return before March 15th.
- E) You should contact Ms. Cassie Fedor, Business Manager ([email protected]) with questions regarding financial aid.
SERRA SCHOLARSHIPS
Serra Catholic proudly offers several scholarship opportunities to current students. The deadline for Serra Scholarships is Friday, March 15, 2024. All scholarships must be received in the main office by that date. The following is a list of current scholarships being offered to our students:
- Serra Catholic Endowment Scholarship
- Serra Catholic Academic Merit Scholarship for Current Students
- Serra Catholic Saint Junipero Serra Scholarship
- Arnold & Jean Stein Scholarship
- Walter & Stefina Ogrodnik Scholarship
- The Bruce Michael Guarascio Memorial Scholarship
Criteria and applications can be accessed on our website www.serrahs.org. Once there click on the Admissions Tab, scroll down, click Tuition and Financial Aid, scroll down and to the right click on Scholarships. Click the button for each scholarship you would like to print. Make sure to print a Scholarship Cover page and the Teacher Recommendation page. Please carefully read the directions and criteria for each of the scholarships. Please note that Serra faculty recommendations are submitted online. Musical Ads
Do you or one of your family members own a small business? Would you like to help support Serra Catholic’s cast and crew of The Addams Family? You have an opportunity to purchase an ad in our musical program to help promote your business and support our show! Business ads are $50 for small ads, $75 for half page ads, and $150 for full page ads. You can also purchase line patron ads at $5 per line for Gold ads and $10 per line for Ruby ads, and $5 for shout outs.

SPRING OPEN HOUSE – Wednesday, March 13th Please invite any friends or family that have students (5th, 6th, 7th and 8th) beginning to think about high school or students considering transferring to Serra to our Spring Open House, Wednesday, March 13th 6:30-8:00 pm. Families will have the opportunity to discuss curriculum and extracurricular offerings with our administration, faculty, coaches, and students. Tours will be provided. PLACEMENT TEST ~ Saturday, March 16th

WINTER ATHLETIC SPORTS FEE
To continue our tradition of excellence in athletics, we require all families of student athletes to pay an athletic fee based on how many sports are played, according to the following schedule:
One Sport: $100.00
Two Sports: $125.00
Three Sports: $150.00
Please note that this is a mandatory school fee and is in addition to any team’s booster club’s activity fee. Please submit your payment to the main office by Friday, March 1st. Please indicate on the envelope your child’s name, grade, and the sport(s) they are participating in. If you have already paid for your fall sport, you only need to pay for your winter sport. If you have yet to pay your fall sports fee, we ask that you please pay it at this time. If you have already paid this fee for the year, thank you very much and you may disregard this message.
