Serra's Circle of Friends Group Prepares for the Holiday Season with Gingerbread Houses

posted Dec 4, 2012, 10:11 AM by Patrick Sullivan

During the recent activities period, the Circle of Friends made gingerbread houses in preparation for the holiday season. Using empty iced tea cartons, graham crackers, and icing, the students constructed their houses. There were other materials used to decorate their houses such as gum drops, candy mints, miniature marshmallows, licorice, sprinkles and candy canes, as well. The students enjoyed working with each other and had a great time being creative. The Circle of Friends hopes to display the houses next week in the main office.
