On October 10, 2012, Ms. DeSalvo's Advanced Biology students were invited by Dr. Carrie Doonan, a parent of 3 Serra alumni, to her lab at Carnegie Mellon University. There, the students spent the morning solving a "murder mystery" using DNA technology.
