FAFSA Completion Session for Senior Families - February 26, 2015

As senior students begin to finalize their college plans, the next step is to begin the financial aid process.  The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Aid) is the first step in starting the process.  It is used to apply for federal student aid, such as grants, loans, and work study.  In Pennsylvania, information from the FAFSA is used to award other types of aid as well, including the Pennsylvania State Grant.  

Serra Catholic High School will host FAFSA Completion on Thursday, February 26, 2015.  A representative from PHEAA (Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency) will be able to assist senior families with filling out the application.  There will be three sessions available 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 6:00 PM.  Please note that the PHEAA representative will only be able to accommodate 10 families per hour.  Click here to find a list of items you need to bring to the session.  In addition, please bring your child’s chromebook as the FAFSA form is completed online only.
