Julia started playing racquetball when she was 5. She attended the Junior National Racquetball Tournament for 7 years and qualified for the US Junior National Racquetball Team for 5 years in a row. She is going to the Junior World Racquetball Tournament in San Luis Potosi, Mexico from November 11 - 19.  Last year Julia went to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and in 2014  went to Cali, Colombia.  Julia and her partner took a bronze in doubles in the Worlds

This past June, she played at the Junior Nationals. Julia played in 12U singles and 12U doubles and placed second in singles and first in doubles. This achievement allows her to play for the National team in both divisions.

Julia recently played at the US Open in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which is the biggest tournament that racquetball has.   She played in the Women's B singles and Women's B doubles. She won the gold in doubles and in singles as well as winning first in the consolation bracket.

Congratulations and good luck, Julia!
