On Monday, December 3, Serra Catholic brought 31 students to compete in the Junior Achievement Titan Challenge held at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit 3 at the Waterfront. The JA Titan Challenge is a business simulation that tests your skills in running a business. Students are in teams of two or three and are competing against other schools teams’ as well as their own school to get the most points throughout the day. As CEO, you are expected to match wits in the competitive, technologically advanced industry of the Holo-Generator Corporation.

Serra is proud to announce that one of our teams took an overall 2nd place! Lauren Stroh, Marlena Darr, and Zachary Montgomery represented Serra’s winning team. Other schools that participated included Baldwin High School and North Allegheny. Serra Catholic represented the most with 12 participating teams.

We look forward to another Titan Challenge this spring for Serra students to show off their business and entrepreneur skills.
