The 2013 High School bowling season ended on March 15th at the State Championships in Ephrata, PA. The girls finished 2nd in the Southeast Section. Jasmyne Small, Jill Vietmeier, and Hannah Schorr attended the banquet to receive a plaque for the School as well as individual plaques for each of the team members. Sarah Schindler, Jackie Noca and Amber Pavucsko were unable to attend the dinner but will be receiving a plaque for their efforts with the team. Sarah Schindler won a medal for 3rd highest series (581) at the WPIBL Playoffs. Sarah also made it to the State Championships and finished 17th. Hannah Schorr was given an award for the 3rd highest series in the regular season (732), MVP for the Southeast Section, and was named to the 1st Team All-Conference Team with a 201 average for the year. Hannah also made it to the State Championships and finished in 6th place just 4 pins out of a spot to bowl for the Championship. All of this year’s team will hopefully be returning next year and our
expectations are to be even better.

It was a year of new bowlers for the boys team. We said goodbye to Seniors Nick Cimino and Dan Popovich, but have a good foundation for next year with Chandler Yocca, Alec Regan, Mike Esasky and Adam Galaski. We hope to add to our boys and girls team for next year.
