Serra Eagles Softball Rally to Beat Brentwood

Down 8-4 to Brentwood, going into the final inning of yesterday's game, the Serra Catholic Eagles Softball Team resolved not to go quietly into the night. In a total team effort the Eagles put a string of twelve at bats together that produced a triple, two doubles, four singles and two walks. When the onslaught subsided, and their bats had finally cooled, the Eagles had put up eight runs to take a 12-8 lead. The Eagles slammed the door shut in the bottom of the seventh for another section win. The Eagles are back in action this afternoon, at home, when they face off against Carlynton. Come on down to Renzie and cheer on your Eagles!
