Serra Eagles Softball Season Comes to End Against South Side Beaver

Your Serra Catholic Eagles Softball Team's season came to an end yesterday afternoon when they were defeated by the South Side Beaver Rams 9-0.  

The Eagles finished 10-7 overall, second place in their section, and made it to the second round of the playoffs.  

Career Achievements for our graduating seniors were as follows:

Lauren Kolenik set a new Serra Catholic Record when she finished her career with a.494 batting average, the highest in school history. Simone Jahn's 63 runs scored, over her career, is the fourth highest in school history and her 49 stolen bases, over the span of her career, is third best in school history. 

Single Season Achievements: 

Simone Jahn set the single season stolen base record this year with 22.  Simone's 23 runs scored was the sixth best in school history. Lauren Kolenik's season average of .500 was the sixth best single season average in school history, and her on base percentage of .583 and .750 slugging percentage were both the seventh best in school history.  Nina Grandey finished with multiple single season achievements, including 22 runs scored, ninth best in school history, 24 hits which was seventh best, 27 RBIs - second best, and her .886 slugging percentage was fifth best in school history.  Lizzie Fite's seven victories was tied for sixth best and her 3.25 ERA  was fourth best in school history, and Maddie Carr's twenty RBIs was tenth best in school history.
