On Friday, January 25, forty-three Serra Catholic representatives, of which thirty-seven were students, attended the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. Individuals from across the country gathered to protest the Supreme Court’s decision to legalize abortion in the case of Roe versus Wade. Since the inception of this law’s passage forty years ago, fifty-five million babies have been aborted. In an effort to peacefully protest this law, Serra students joined the thousands of other Americans in walking and praying. The students in the Pro-Life Club continue to promote life at all stages through meetings, discussions, and prayers throughout the school year.
