On Friday, the Eagles defeated South Side Beaver 25-20.  The Eagles caught fire early on as Jared Bevan forced a fumble on the opening kick-off, and the eagles wasted no time in scoring, taking a 7-0 lead on a pass from Evan Honick to Jimmy Schropp.  The Rams tied the game following a turnover.  The Eagles caught fire again taking a halftime lead of 19-7 on scorers by Jordan Pulkownik and JaQuae Jackson.  In the third quarter the Rams scored two quick touchdowns and held a      20-19 lead with 40 seconds left in the quarter.  The game was delayed over 30 minutes due to lightening.  Both teams returned to action around 10:00 pm, the Eagles were poised to take the lead and seal the victory.   The teams traded possessions for most of a mud soaked fourth quarter but the Eagles took the lead with three minutes left.  The Eagles drew a pass play from Honick to Jackson again.  JaQuae made an incredible catch between two defenders and broke free for a 60 yard touchdown.  A pick by Matt Ulishney sealed the win in the waning seconds.  Every Eagle player had a spectacular game, including Khalil Smith who rushed for 153 yards.

The Eagles would like to thank all of the fans that  attended Friday night, especially those that stayed following the rain delay!
