Please invite any friends or family that have an eighth grade student or a student thinking of transferring to Serra to contact Mrs. Lyons, Admissions Director at [email protected] or 412-751-2020 x134 to receive an information packet including a 2025-26 application. Applications received prior to December 31st will receive a t-shirt.
Eagles Flight Night is this Saturday, November 9
Our second-annual Eagles Flight Night, an upscale cash-bash/raffle style event, is taking place on Saturday, November 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Events on Ten in Monroeville. We need your help to make this event a success for our school community!
Tickets are $50 and include deluxe hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, silent auction, basket raffle, 50/50, and cash prizes every 4 minutes leading up to our grand prize drawing of $2,500.
Can’t make it in person? You can get a raffle ticket for $25 to have a chance at all the prizes, including the $2,500 grand prize! Earn an entry for a $250 tuition credit for every 10 tickets your family sells!

Semi Formal Dance – December 7, 2024
The Semi-Formal dance will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Stratigos Banquet Center (131 Colonial Manor Road, North Huntingdon, PA 15642) from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Doors open at 5:15 pm and will be locked at 6:00 pm. The cost is $100.00 per couple or $50.00 for a single person. Checks are to be made payable to Serra Catholic High School. Students must sign up using the Google Form in their email. The last day to sign up for the dance is November 8.
When shopping for attire, please be mindful of the following guidelines. Dress code rules and examples of appropriate vs. inappropriate attire can be found attached. Please direct any specific questions to Mrs. Koval ([email protected]).

There are 4 options to complete your paperwork:
- If you have not played a sport at Serra yet this school year, please go to the tab that says "full physical" in its title. Your physical has to have been done after May 1, 2024 to work for this school year.

- If you have played soccer, football, volleyball, golf, cross country, or cheerleading and were not injured, go to the "parent-guardian recertification form" tab.No medical provider signature is needed....just a parent/guardian and a student signature.

- If you played something this fall and were unfortunately sick or injured, go to the medical provider recertification form. The medical provider that took care of you has to fill this out.(If you were injured and returned to your fall sport as per doctor's orders, then you need the "parent-guardian recertification form.")

- Also, if your winter sports physical was performed / re-certified / paperwork filled out earlier than mid October 2021, please also turn in a current "parent-guardian recertification form."

Concussion testing dates for freshmen, junior, and new basketball players will occur the week of Nov 18.
You cannot participate as of Friday November 15 without a fully filled out, valid physical or proper recertification papers.

24-25 Course Registration Fee
Please remember that the $100 course registration fee is due at this time for all sophomore, junior, and senior students. You should have received a letter in the mail with your child’s course selections and a note mentioning this fee. You are welcome to pay this fee with either cash or a check made payable to Serra Catholic High School. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Cassie Fedor at [email protected].
FALL ATHLETIC SPORTS FEE
To continue our tradition of excellence in athletics, we require all families of student athletes to pay an athletic fee based on how many sports are played, according to the following schedule:
One Sport: $100.00
Two Sports: $125.00
Three Sports: $150.00
Please note that this is a mandatory school fee and is in addition to any team’s booster club’s activity fee. Please submit your payment to the main office by Friday, November 1st. Please indicate on the envelope your child’s name, grade, and the sport(s) they are participating in.
