Serra Catholic Announces New Head Football Coach

Serra Catholic High School is proud to announce that  Akeeme “Coach Keem” Robinson has accepted the position of head football coach, bringing a wealth of experience, a proven track record, and a vision for success. A Pittsburgh native and former Central Catholic High School player, Coach Keem’s roots in Western Pennsylvania football run deep. His coaching journey began at Penn Hills High School (2013-2016), where he served as an assistant coach for JV and Varsity teams, earning respect for his ability to develop players and foster a disciplined, winning culture.

Coach Keem joined Serra Catholic in 2017 as the defensive coordinator, a role he held through 2022. Known for building elite defensive units, his strategic leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence were instrumental in Serra’s legendary championship, where the defense became the foundation of their success.  Serra's defense collected nine turnovers during the 2021 AA championship game, setting a WPIAL championship game record.  

Coach Keem is a dynamic entrepreneur, community builder, husband, and father off the field.  As the founder of Coach Keem Fitness and Healthy Habits Programming, he has significantly impacted youth and senior wellness through innovative programs that address critical health issues and promote leadership. With his experience as a coach, businessman, and community leader, Coach Keem embodies the values Serra Catholic prioritizes for its student-athletes. 

Above all, Coach Keem values his role as a family man, proudly supporting his wife, Toree, and son, King Robinson.
