Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we embark on the holiest time of the Church year, we are reminded of the beauty of God’s creation as we see signs of new life all around us. With this change in seasons, we will experience longer days, more sunlight, and warmer weather.
It has been ten years since a massive air conditioning project brought welcomed relief from the very warm days at the beginning and end of the school year. Unfortunately, these units are aging and are in need of maintenance. Furthermore, while that project was limited to the upstairs classrooms, I’m pleased to report that funding has been secured to add air conditioning to our cafeteria. This project will not only provide a more comfortable atmosphere, it will improve the quality in this space as the fresh air coming into the space will go through a purification process. These air purifiers have also been installed in our classrooms and gymnasium.
The enhancements to our HVAC system will take longer than initially anticipated. To complete all of the work by our return from the Easter holiday, we will have a virtual learning day/Chrome from Home this Wednesday, April 16.
