Bringing Students’ Gifts to Life: Celebrating Our Students of the Week
At Serra Catholic High School, our mission of Bringing Students’ Gifts to Life is more than just a tagline; it’s a commitment we live out each day. One of the ways we do this is through our Students of the Week program, which shines a spotlight on the many ways Serra students share their gifts with our school community.
“Students need to be recognized for their hard work, dedication to education, and love of learning to be reminded of how wonderfully they are doing!” said Mrs. Fox, Dean of Academic Affairs, when asked why she began this program. “In addition, other students can emulate the students of the week!”
The program launched during the 2024-25 school year. Each week, faculty and staff nominated students who went above and beyond, whether through academic effort, leadership, kindness, service, creativity, or school spirit.
Our Students of the Week were a diverse group that represented so many aspects of our school. Each story is a reflection of Serra Catholic’s commitment to nurturing every student’s God-given potential.
Each student was recognized during morning announcements so that the entire Serra Catholic community could celebrate them. Students also received a small gift.
Students of the Week will be highlighted throughout the upcoming academic year, and we look forward to showcasing their success!
