PRE ACT- Thursday, October 23, 2025 (11th Graders)
The Pre ACT measures English, mathematics, reading and science, just like the ACT test, but does not have a writing test. It is designed to model the ACT test experience, providing students with the ultimate preparation and practice. The PRE ACT is a good predictor of how a student will perform on the ACT test. It is important to note the ACT exam is accepted at all colleges and universities, just like the SAT. It is imperative that 11th graders are exposed to both exams in order to determine their testing timeline. The exam is mandatory for all 11th graders. The following materials will be needed on test day:
- A calculator
- #2 pencils, no mechanical pencils
As both testing days are half days of school (11:30 am dismissal) please be advised:
Seniors and Freshmen do not report to school on Wednesday, October 22nd.
Seniors and Sophomores do not report to school on Thursday, October 23th.
Juniors report on both Wednesday and Thursday.
There is no school for all students on Friday, October 24, 2025.
The cafeteria will also be closed on testing days. Breakfast will not be available.
Please note the following school districts do not bus on half days: Yough, Gateway, Penn Hills, and Woodland Hills. These districts will provide transportation to school but will not pick up students. Students from these districts will need to find an alternative transportation home.
