CALLING FUTURE EAGLES

PLACEMENT TEST ~ Saturday, March 7th

If you know of an eighth grade student who is planning on attending Serra for the 2026-27 school year, please let the family know that the placement test for incoming freshmen will be held on Saturday, March 7th  from 8:45 am -12:00 pm.  For more information please contact Mrs. Lyons, Admissions Director, at 412-751-2020 x134 or [email protected].

OPEN HOUSE ~ Thursday, March 12th 

Please invite any friends or family that have students (5th, 6th, 7th and 8th) beginning to think about high school or students considering transferring to Serra to our Spring Open HouseThursday, March 12th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. . Families will have the opportunity to discuss curriculum and extracurricular offerings with our faculty and meet administrators, coaches, and students. Financial Aid Application 26-27

Financial aid applications for the 2026-2027 school year are now being accepted. To be considered for financial aid, please begin the application process as soon as possible, but no later than March 15th, 2026, even if all documents, including your 2025 tax returns, are not yet available. Families will be required to provide 2025 income documentation, and for the application to be considered complete, the submission of all documents must be completed by April 30th, 2026. Unlike in past years, there will not be a fee charged to families applying for financial aid. All families should apply for financial aid.

SPRING ATHLETIC SPORTS FEE

To continue our tradition of excellence in athletics, we require all families of student athletes to pay an athletic fee based on how many sports are played, according to the following schedule:

One Sport: $100.00
Two Sports: $125.00
Three Sports: $150.00

Please note that this is a mandatory school fee and is in addition to any team’s booster club’s activity fee. Please submit your payment to the main office by Friday, May 8th. Please indicate on the envelope your child’s name, grade, and the sport(s) they are participating in. If you have already paid for your fall/winter sport, you only need to pay for your spring sport. If you have yet to pay the fall/winter sports fee for this year, we ask that you please pay it at this time. If you have already paid this fee for the year, thank you very much and you may disregard this message. If you have any questions concerning your child’s sports fee, please contact Ms. Cassie Fedor at [email protected].
