Scheduled Two Hour Delay – Friday, March 13, 2026
Friday, March 13 is a scheduled two-hour delay. If you live in the Baldwin, Duquesne/West Mifflin, Gateway, Pittsburgh, Penn Hills and Yough school districts, please note the bus will pick upstudents at the normal time since they do not honor our scheduled two-hour delay.
There will be someone at the school for their arrival.
End of 3rd Quarter - Report Cards
Please note the end of the 3rd quarter period for report cards will be pushed back to April 1st for underclassmen.
The report card period for seniors will remain the same due to their truncated 4th quarter.
Boys Basketball - PIAA 2nd Round - Tuesday, March 10 at 6:00 pm
The boys' basketball team defeated Bishop Carroll out of District 6 on Friday to advance to the second round of the PIAA tournament. They will take on the top team from District 9, playing Elk County Catholic at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 10 at Punxsutawney High School.

There appears to be a $1.00 discount if you purchase them before game day.
Girls Basketball Congratulations on a Great Season
The girls' basketball team ended their year Saturday with a PIAA playoff game loss to a very strong Williamsburg team. Congrats to the WPIAL Champion Lady Eagles for a great season.
OPEN HOUSE ~ Thursday, March 12th
Please invite any friends or family that have students (5th, 6th, 7th and 8th) beginning to think about high school or students considering transferring to Serra to our SpringOpen House, Thursday, March 12th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. . Families will have the opportunity to discuss curriculum and extracurricular offerings with our faculty and meet administrators, coaches, and students. Financial Aid Application 26-27
Financial aid applications for the 2026-2027 school year are now being accepted. To be considered for financial aid, please begin the application process as soon as possible, but no later than March 15th, 2026, even if all documents, including your 2025 tax returns, are not yet available. Families will be required to provide 2025 income documentation, and for the application to be considered complete, the submission of all documents must be completed by April 30th, 2026. Unlike in past years, there will not be a fee charged to families applying for financial aid. All families should apply for financial aid.

Free Shipping on orders of $100 or more. You can order anytime between now and Sunday, March 22, 2026. Calling all Catholic Elementary and Middle School BAND students! On Saturday March 21st band students are invited to participate in our "Side-by-Side Concert" Celebrating Music in Our Schools Month! We will be hosting a free 1 day rehearsal and concert. Band students would be invited to combine with Serra high school band students. SPRING ATHLETIC SPORTS FEE
To continue our tradition of excellence in athletics, we require all families of student athletes to pay an athletic fee based on how many sports are played, according to the following schedule:
One Sport: $100.00
Two Sports: $125.00
Three Sports: $150.00
Please note that this is a mandatory school fee and is in addition to any team’s booster club’s activity fee. Please submit your payment to the main office by Friday, May 8th. Please indicate on the envelope your child’s name, grade, and the sport(s) they are participating in. If you have already paid for your fall/winter sport, you only need to pay for your spring sport. If you have yet to pay the fall/winter sports fee for this year, we ask that you please pay it at this time. If you have already paid this fee for the year, thank you very much and you may disregard this message.
