Oct. 12 - Picture Make Up Day
CALLING FUTURE EAGLES - Open House - Thursday, October 8 - 6:00 pm
Please invite any friends or family that have eighth grade students or students thinking of transferring to Serra to our Fall Open House. Families will have the opportunity to discuss curriculum and extracurricular offerings with our administration, faculty, coaches, and students. Visitors will travel through the school with a “blueprint” as they visit classrooms and other booths.
In addition, any student considering Serra may be an “Eagle” for a day by shadowing a Serra student. This is a one-on-one opportunity to attend classes, have lunch and experience a day as a Serra student! Shadowing experiences take place November through April and must be scheduled through the Admissions Office. Serra Catholic College Financial Aid Night
Thursday, October 15, 2026 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Diona Brown, PHEAA’s Director of School Services, will present information on the financial aid application process, what types of aid are available for students, and strategies to start thinking about affordability before getting ready to apply for post-secondary school admission. Time will be built into the presentation to allow you to ask any questions you may have regarding the financial aid process.

SOCCER CONCESSION STAND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are in need of 2-3 Volunteers for the Concession Stand for the following home soccer games this week. Please plan to report to the Soccer Field Concession Stand at 6:15.
Girls - Wednesday, October 7th at 6:30
Boys - Thursday, October 8th at 6:30
50/50 Volunteers Needed- Home Football Game - Friday, October 9. 2026

Spirit Wear Volunteers Needed for Home Football Game - Friday, October 9

School Pictures Make Up Day is Monday, October 12
If your child was absent on Picture Day or would like to retake their photo for any reason, they can do so during Picture Make Up Day on Monday, October 12. Please see the handbook for a reminder on “Dress Up Day” dress code regulations.

Yearbook Update
The 2025-2026 yearbook will be delivered and distributed to students in the fall. Additional yearbooks will be for sale in the main office. Their arrival date and price will be communicated to you in the next few weeks.
The 2026-2027 yearbook can be purchased here. The cost of the yearbook will increase throughout the school year.
Senior parents, if you’d like to purchase an ad in the yearbook for your child, you can do so here.

26-27 Course Registration Fee
Any Sophomore, Junior, or Senior students who have not yet paid their $100 course registration fee, please know that it is due at this time. Families are welcome to pay their course registration fee by cash, check (made payable to Serra Catholic High School), or may call Ms. Cassie Fedor in the Serra Business office to pay by credit card. If paying by cash or check, please put your student’s name and grade on the envelope. If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Cassie Fedor at [email protected].
Fall Athletic Sports Fee
To continue our tradition of excellence in athletics, we require all families of student athletes to pay an athletic fee based on how many sports are played, according to the following schedule:
One Sport: $100.00
Two Sports: $125.00
Three Sports: $150.00
Please note that this is a mandatory school fee and is in addition to any team’s booster club’s activity fee. Please submit your payment to the main office by Monday, November 2nd. Please indicate on the envelope your child’s name, grade, and the sport(s) they are participating in. If you have any questions concerning your child’s sports fee, please contact Ms. Cassie Fedor at [email protected].
