Academic Departments & Curriculum

Check out how our Personalized Education Experience benefits Serra Catholic students:

Courses offered at Serra Catholic High School are structured to appropriately challenge students according to ability.

LEVELS 1- 3 - 5 – indicates the difficulty of the course. There are three main academic levels offered.

Level 1 is intended for students who may need additional assistance in mathematics, reading, or another subject area.

Level 3 is the standard academic track in which most students are registered.

Level 5 is the most demanding (honors equivalent) track. Courses marked as Level 1, 3, or 5 are calculated on the weighted scale.

Level 7 - indicates a college level course for which college credit may be gained through the College in High School Program. These courses are weighted at the Level 5 values.
