Advisors 2024-2025 SY - Reminder

Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores will choose their Advisor on the following dates.

Mr. Childs  will send a Google form on the day listed below at approximately 7:00 am.  The form will remain open until 10:00 pm the following day.  If the students do not choose an Advisor, one will be selected for them. 

 

This is first come, first served.  Teachers will be removed if their roster fills up.   If a teacher is no longer listed, they are no longer available. 

 

Seniors =  Monday, August 5th, 7:00 am - Tuesday, August 6th, 10:00 pm

Juniors = Wednesday, August 7th - 7:00 am - Thursday, August 8th, 10:00 pm

Sophomores = Monday, August 12th - 7:00 am - Tuesday, August 13th, 10:00 pm

 

24-25 Course Registration Fee

 

Please remember that the $100 course registration fee is due at this time for all sophomore, junior, and senior students. You should have received a letter in the mail with your child’s course selections and a note mentioning this fee. You are welcome to pay this fee with either cash or a check made payable to Serra Catholic High School. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Cassie Fedor at [email protected].

If you have moved over the summer please email Cindy Carr or Amy Sullivan at [email protected] or [email protected] with your new address and school district so that we can update our system and notify your new district for bussing.

 Parking Permits

We are selling Parking Permits in the main office from 9am-1pm Monday - Thursday.  Please note the office is closed on Fridays.  Parking permit forms are on the website and in the main office.  Please make sure to bring your registration, drivers license, the completed form with parent signatures and $50 payment to the office.  No spots will be held.  They are sold in sequential order on a first come basis.

Gently Used Uniform Sale - August 12-15, 2024

We will have a gently used uniform sale from Monday, August 12 through Thursday, August 15 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm in the Friary.  Please do not call the office to check on sizes.  No shirts/pants will be held. Only cash or checks accepted.  Checks can be made out to: Serra Catholic.

Costs:  $5 for shirts, pants and sweatshirts

$10 for 1/4 zip.

Spirit Wear Sale - August 12-15, 2024

We are also having a spirit wear sale from Monday, August 12 through Thursday, August 15 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm in the main lobby.  New Spirit Wear is available along with Sale Items.  Only cash or checks accepted.  Checks can be made out to: Serra Catholic.

 

School Picture Day is Thursday, September 5

Mark your calendars for School Picture Day on Thursday, September 5th.  This year, Picture Day will include Senior Headshots - there is no separate day over the summer. Please note: due to the green screen technology used for this year’s pictures, students cannot wear green in their photos. This is in addition to the “Dress Up Day” information in the Student Handbook. More information will be provided closer to the day.

 

Volunteers Needed for the Annual 5K Race on August 16, 2024

The Serra Cross Country team is in need of volunteers to help with their annual 5k race at White Oak Park.  Volunteers would need to arrive by 5:30-6:00 pm.  Race begins at 7:00 pm

Sign up for next year's Marching Band and Color Guard!

All musical instruments, dancers, twirlers, and color guard!  NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NEEDED!   We are searching for NEW members.  8th Graders that currently attend a Catholic school are also eligible to join!  Please email [email protected] if interested in joining!
