Football (Homecoming) - Friday October 4, 2024
We are currently in need of 3 additional gate volunteers for 10/4/2024. All volunteers will need to report to the Main Office of the school no later than 5:30 on Game Day. Please email Amy Sullivan at [email protected].
2023-2024 Yearbooks Have Arrived
The 2023-2024 Yearbook has arrived and will be distributed to students this week! If you did not order your child a yearbook and would like one, there are additional copies for sale in the main office. The yearbooks will be sold on a first come first serve basis at $85.00 until supplies run out.
CALLING FUTURE EAGLES
Please invite any friends or family that have an eighth grade student or a student thinking of transferring to Serra to contact Mrs. Lyons, Admissions Director at [email protected] or 412-751-2020 x134 to receive an information packet including a 2025-26 application. Applications received prior to December 31st will receive a t-shirt.
8th GRADE VISIT DAY - Friday, September 27th
Don’t miss this opportunity on Friday, September 27th from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to investigate why Serra Catholic students excel in the classroom, on the field and in life! Current 8th grade students will explore our campus and meet Serra students and faculty. Students will be placed in small groups, follow an abbreviated schedule, and get answers to all their questions. Students who attend the following Catholic elementary schools: Divine Mercy Academy, Mary of Nazareth, Sr. Thea Bowman, Holy Family Catholic School and St. Therese will be invited via their current school and busing will be provided. If your child attends a different elementary school you will be responsible for transporting your child to and from Serra. Lunch is provided to all students attending. Open House - Thursday, October 10th - 6:00 pm
Please invite any friends or family that have eighth grade students or students thinking of transferring to Serra to our Open House. Families will have the opportunity to discuss curriculum and extracurricular offerings with our administration, faculty, coaches, and students. Tours will also be provided. In addition, any student considering Serra may be an “Eagle” for a day by shadowing a Serra student. This is a one-on-one opportunity to attend classes, have lunch and experience a day as a Serra student! Shadowing experiences take place November through April and must be scheduled through the Admissions Office.

Instrument Donations Needed
Serra Band looking for instrument donations! Specifically, we are looking for 2 clarinets! If you have any used instruments you are willing to donate please contact Mr. Bush [email protected]
24-25 Course Registration Fee
Please remember that the $100 course registration fee is due at this time for all sophomore, junior, and senior students. You should have received a letter in the mail with your child’s course selections and a note mentioning this fee. You are welcome to pay this fee with either cash or a check made payable to Serra Catholic High School. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Cassie Fedor at [email protected].
FALL ATHLETIC SPORTS FEE
To continue our tradition of excellence in athletics, we require all families of student athletes to pay an athletic fee based on how many sports are played, according to the following schedule:
One Sport: $100.00
Two Sports: $125.00
Three Sports: $150.00
Please note that this is a mandatory school fee and is in addition to any team’s booster club’s activity fee. Please submit your payment to the main office by Friday, November 1st. Please indicate on the envelope your child’s name, grade, and the sport(s) they are participating in.
