Concession Volunteers Needed for October 9 and October 13
We are in need of concession volunteers for the following games. Two volunteers will be needed for each game. Volunteers should arrive for 6:00 pm
Boys Soccer - Thursday, October 9
Girls Soccer - Monday, October 13

CALLING FUTURE EAGLES
Please invite any friends or family that have an eighth grade student or a student thinking of transferring to Serra to contact Mrs. Lyons, Admissions Director at [email protected] or 412-751-2020 x134 to receive an information packet including a 2026-27 application. Applications received prior to December 31st will receive a t-shirt.
PLACEMENT TEST and FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOP - Saturday, November 8th
If you know of an eighth grade student who is planning on attending Serra for the 2026-27 school year, please let the family know that the placement test for incoming freshmen will be held on Saturday, November 8th from 8:45-Noon. There will also be a Parent/Guardian workshop on Financial Aid from 9:00 am - 10:00 am. For more information please contact Mrs. Lyons, Admissions Director, at 412-751-2020 x134 or [email protected].
Semi-Formal Dance - Saturday, December 6, 2025
The 2025 Semi-Formal Dance will be held on Saturday, December 6, at the Stratigos Banquet Centre in North Huntingdon. The cost is $60 per person and $120 per couple, which includes a sit-down dinner and dessert.
All financial obligations must be current prior to the dance. If you are bringing a current Serra student as your guest, this applies to both individuals.
Students can sign up for the dance starting tomorrow, October 7th; the sign-up period will end on Friday, November 7.
Paperwork and money are due to Mrs. Sullivan in the main office by Friday, November 14. Please email Mrs. Koval at [email protected] if you have any questions.
24-25 Yearbooks
If you did not order a 24-25 Yearbook and would like to purchase one, we have a limited amount of copies for sale in the main office. Yearbooks cost $80. Cash or checks payable to Serra Catholic are accepted. Please email Mrs. Koval at [email protected] with any questions.
25-26 Course Registration Fee
Please remember that the $100 course registration fee is due at this time for all sophomore, junior, and senior students. You should have received a letter in the mail with your child’s course selections and a note mentioning this fee. You are welcome to pay this fee with either cash or a check made payable to Serra Catholic High School. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Cassie Fedor at [email protected].
FALL ATHLETIC SPORTS FEE
To continue our tradition of excellence in athletics, we require all families of student athletes to pay an athletic fee based on how many sports are played, according to the following schedule:
One Sport: $100.00
Two Sports: $125.00
Three Sports: $150.00
Please note that this is a mandatory school fee and is in addition to any team’s booster club’s activity fee. Please submit your payment to the main office by Monday, November 3rd. Please indicate on the envelope your child’s name, grade, and the sport(s) they are participating in.
